School Term & Holiday Pattern 2017/2018
The following pattern is mostly in line with Lancashire Local Authority pattern for community schools. Please note that teaching staff are required to work for 195 equivalent days during the academic year. Part time staff are required to work a proportion of days pro-rata. The 5 inset dates are as follows:
- 09.17 (inset in school)
- 10.17 (inset in school)
- 11.17 (inset in school)
- 12.17 (inset in school)
- 01.18 (inset in school)
The total number of days that schools are required to be open for students is 190.
