The presentation of Progress Files to Year 11 pupils represents the culmination of five years’ academic and personal development, as the pupils progress towards their final GCSE exams.
Each file contains various records of achievement which the pupils have accumulated over their time here at Moor Park.
Presenting the files at this year’s ceremony was guest speaker Phil McCabe who is the Head of Finance at Community Gateway Association. In his speech, Mr McCabe emphasised the importance of Progress Files as a complement to exam results and how they can be used to show prospective employers evidence of a well-rounded individual.
The presentation was concluded by two of our current Year 12 students who talked about how they’ve made the most of their Progress Files and have continued to add to them during their time at Moor Park’s Sixth Form.
All the Year 11 file recipients were rightly proud of themselves, as were staff and parents present at the ceremony.
