Once again, Moor Park Sixth Form students have achieved outstanding results. The achievements made by our students this year are excellent; the summer of 2016 is again one for celebration. Many congratulations to our students receiving outstanding results today; their hard work and determination over the past year have paid off. The vast majority of our A level students have met their targets and have exciting times ahead starting university courses, apprenticeships or jobs of their choice. The A level results overall are also outstanding and a marginal improvement on last year’s results. The pass rate remains outstanding at 100%. Congratulations to the students who achieved straight A*/A grades in all subjects. Overall an outstanding achievement of A*/B passes at 67%.
The Headteacher Peter Cunningham said,“ the excellent pass rate reflects the hard work and commitment of the students as well as their teachers and the improvement on the previous year shows the sixth form which opened in 2013 is developing very well”. Anne King, the Head of Sixth Form, added “how proud she was that all the students taking BTECs also achieved ‘Distinction Stars’ and as a result we have once again achieved 100% progression into Higher Education, Apprenticeships or employment”.
